Terms of service
Last Updated: September 7, 2026
Welcome to IVORIE.
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ivorieofficial.com, ivoriebooks.com, and other IVORIE-operated online storefronts, as well as purchases made directly through IVORIE.
By accessing or using an IVORIE website, creating an account, submitting an order, or purchasing a product or service, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies incorporated into them by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the website or place an order.
Products & Services
IVORIE is a personal-development and lifestyle brand. Ivorie Books is its flagship publishing division.
Products offered may include books, journals, workbooks, coloring and reflection books, educational and creative resources, calendars, posters, greeting cards, apparel, gifts, accessories, and other lifestyle products.
Product descriptions, images, specifications, page counts, dimensions, pricing, availability, promotions, and other information are provided to help customers make purchasing decisions.
IVORIE may add, revise, update, limit, or discontinue products, collections, services, promotions, or website content at any time.
We make reasonable efforts to present product information accurately. Minor differences may occur between digital images and the physical product due to screen settings, printing, manufacturing, materials, production methods, or other normal production variations.
Eligibility & Lawful Use
You may use IVORIE websites and purchase products only for lawful purposes.
You may not use the website, products, content, services, or purchasing systems in a manner that violates applicable law, infringes intellectual-property rights, interferes with website operation, attempts unauthorized access, facilitates fraud, or misuses IVORIE products, promotions, or services.
Orders
Submission of an order does not necessarily constitute acceptance of the order.
IVORIE reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to accept, refuse, limit, hold, or cancel an order for legitimate business, operational, security, or compliance reasons.
These may include:
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity
- Payment authorization or verification issues
- Pricing, product, or typographical errors
- Product or production availability
- Shipping restrictions
- Incorrect or incomplete customer information
- Misuse of promotions or discount offers
- Quantity limitations
- Legal or regulatory requirements
- Fulfillment limitations
- Other legitimate business or security concerns
If IVORIE cancels an order after payment has been collected, any amount due back to the purchaser will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product information and order details before completing a purchase.
Pricing & Payment
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website or applicable sales channel.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, duties, fees, or other charges may be added where required or disclosed during checkout, through a quote, or on an invoice.
Payment must be successfully processed and cleared before applicable printing, manufacturing, production, customization, or fulfillment begins.
IVORIE may correct pricing or website errors when identified, subject to applicable law.
Promotional offers, discounts, complimentary-item promotions, and other incentives are governed by the terms displayed with the applicable offer and may be modified or discontinued as permitted by law.
Production & Fulfillment
Many IVORIE products are printed, manufactured, or fulfilled on demand through professional third-party production and fulfillment partners.
Production and processing times vary by product, quantity, fulfillment location, manufacturing requirements, and production capacity.
Orders containing multiple products may be produced or shipped separately and may arrive in more than one package.
Estimated production, shipping, and delivery dates are provided for planning purposes and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed to in writing.
Please review the Shipping & Delivery Policy for additional information.
Bulk & Institutional Purchasing
IVORIE supports bulk and organizational purchasing for schools, libraries, nonprofits, businesses, government agencies, institutions, community programs, events, sponsors, and other organizations.
Bulk, institutional, sponsored, custom, and other organizational orders are subject to review before acceptance.
Factors reviewed may include:
- Product selection
- Quantity
- Intended use
- Production requirements
- Shipping destination
- Requested timeline
- Fulfillment capacity
- Applicable tax documentation
- Other project requirements
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, bulk, institutional, sponsored, and custom organizational orders are purchaser-funded and prepaid.
Production and fulfillment begin after required payment has successfully cleared and applicable order specifications have been confirmed.
IVORIE does not provide complimentary inventory or independently fund production, shipping, events, programs, or distribution expenses on behalf of a purchaser, sponsor, organization, or recipient unless IVORIE expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Sponsorships
An IVORIE sponsorship is a purchaser-funded arrangement in which a business, organization, foundation, donor, sponsor, or individual purchases IVORIE or Ivorie Books products for a selected school, library, nonprofit, program, event, organization, community, or recipient group.
Sponsorship does not mean that IVORIE is donating the products or paying the costs associated with the distribution.
The purchaser or sponsor is responsible for applicable product, production, shipping, fulfillment, and related order costs unless otherwise expressly agreed to by IVORIE in writing.
Partnerships
Purchasing products from IVORIE does not create a partnership, joint venture, agency relationship, endorsement, sponsorship relationship, distribution agreement, licensing arrangement, or other business affiliation.
Formal partnerships, collaborations, licensing arrangements, distribution rights, exclusivity, endorsements, and similar relationships require a separate written agreement approved by IVORIE.
Educational, Organizational & Program Use
IVORIE products may be purchased for lawful personal, family, educational, creative, organizational, gifting, event, program, institutional, or community use when appropriate for the applicable product.
Schools, educators, libraries, nonprofits, businesses, agencies, organizations, and programs are responsible for determining whether a particular product is appropriate for their audience, objectives, environment, and internal requirements.
Ivorie Books resources are supplemental materials. Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific product, they are not represented as replacements for approved school curriculum, medical care, mental-health treatment, licensed therapy, or other regulated professional services.
Use of IVORIE products does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
Consumable Books & Individual Copies
Many Ivorie Books publications contain writing space, coloring activities, prompts, exercises, reflection pages, or other content intended for individual participation.
For consumable titles intended to be written or colored in, an individual copy should generally be purchased for each participant who will use the book as intended.
Purchasing one copy does not authorize photocopying, scanning, printing, duplicating, or electronically distributing copyrighted pages for multiple participants unless IVORIE has expressly granted written permission.
Tax-Exempt Purchases
Qualified organizations may request applicable sales-tax exemption by providing valid exemption documentation before payment when required.
Submission of tax-exempt documentation does not automatically establish eligibility.
Documentation must be reviewed and processed as applicable before the exemption can be applied to a qualifying transaction.
Tax treatment is governed by applicable law and the sales channel through which the purchase is completed.
Intellectual Property
The IVORIE websites and their protected content, including original written materials, book interiors, sample pages, excerpts, artwork, graphics, photographs, product imagery, designs, downloadable materials, logos, trademarks, branding, and other proprietary materials, are owned by or used with authorization by IVORIE unless otherwise stated.
Applicable IVORIE names, logos, marks, slogans, visual identity, and source-identifying elements may be protected by trademark, copyright, unfair-competition, or other intellectual-property laws depending on the material.
Purchasing an IVORIE product does not transfer:
- Copyright
- Publishing rights
- Reproduction rights
- Trademark rights
- Licensing rights
- Artwork rights
- Distribution rights
- Digital-use rights
- Modification rights
- Commercial reuse rights
Protected IVORIE content may not be copied, scanned, reproduced, uploaded, redistributed, republished, modified, adapted, translated, rebranded, incorporated into another publication or product, or commercially exploited without authorization where authorization is legally required.
Please review the Product Use & Brand Guidelines and Legal Notice for additional information.
Product Previews & Digital Materials
Sample pages, book previews, catalogs, review materials, downloadable materials, excerpts, and other preview content are provided for evaluation, informational, promotional, and purchasing purposes.
Access to a preview or digital sample does not grant a right to reproduce or redistribute that content.
Returns, Refunds & Quality Issues
IVORIE products are generally final sale, subject to applicable law and the exceptions described in the Return & Refund Policy.
Verified manufacturing defects, printing defects, fulfillment errors, shipping damage, or incorrect shipments may qualify for an appropriate resolution after review.
Customers should not return merchandise unless IVORIE or the applicable retailer provides return instructions.
Products purchased through Amazon or another third-party marketplace are subject to the applicable retailer's policies and procedures.
Third-Party Services & Fulfillment Partners
IVORIE may use third-party service providers for services including payment processing, manufacturing, printing, fulfillment, shipping, ecommerce technology, analytics, and communications.
Use of certain third-party services may also be governed by the terms and policies of those providers.
IVORIE is not responsible for acts or omissions of independent third parties beyond the extent required by applicable law.
Third-Party Retailers
Products may also be available through Amazon or other authorized third-party sales channels.
Orders placed through a third-party retailer are transactions processed under that retailer's applicable checkout, payment, customer-service, shipping, return, refund, and replacement procedures.
Direct IVORIE bulk pricing, tax-exempt processing, sponsorship coordination, procurement services, and custom organizational purchasing may not be available through external marketplaces.
Accounts
Certain website features or purchasing processes may allow or require customers to create an account.
Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for activity conducted through their account.
Please notify IVORIE through Contact IVORIE if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Website Availability
IVORIE does not guarantee that the website, online store, customer account, chat service, or other digital features will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available.
Maintenance, technical issues, service-provider outages, security concerns, updates, or circumstances outside IVORIE's reasonable control may temporarily affect access.
No Guaranteed Outcomes
IVORIE products are designed to provide opportunities for learning, creativity, writing, reflection, analysis, imagination, participation, and personal expression according to the nature of the applicable product.
Individual experiences and outcomes vary.
IVORIE does not guarantee educational, emotional, financial, professional, health, therapeutic, developmental, or other specific outcomes from the purchase or use of a product.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IVORIE products, websites, and services are provided subject to the warranties and protections that cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any warranty, guarantee, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IVORIE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to use of the website, purchase or use of products, production delays, shipping delays, third-party services, or other matters covered by these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Events Beyond Reasonable Control
IVORIE is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, carrier disruptions, labor interruptions, manufacturing interruptions, supply shortages, government actions, customs delays, widespread service outages, emergencies, or similar events.
Where appropriate, IVORIE will make reasonable efforts to communicate material order delays.
Privacy
Use of IVORIE websites is also subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable privacy-preference tools.
Please review those materials for information regarding the collection, use, and protection of personal information.
Changes to These Terms
IVORIE may revise these Terms of Service from time to time.
Updated Terms will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Changes will apply prospectively as required by applicable law. Continued use of the website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection or other mandatory laws provide otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under the laws applicable to that consumer.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
No Waiver
Failure by IVORIE to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.
Contact
Questions regarding these Terms, an order, a policy, intellectual-property permissions, organizational purchasing, or other IVORIE matters may be submitted through Contact IVORIE.
Submission of an inquiry does not modify these Terms or constitute approval of a request.
One legal-structure point: because these Terms govern actual purchases, a lawyer may ultimately recommend identifying the legal contracting entity somewhere in the Terms or associated merchant disclosures even though you do not want “Ivorie LLC” used throughout the customer-facing website. Shopify itself requires accurate public-facing business and contact information and tells merchants that applicable requirements vary by jurisdiction.
